INSTRUCTIONS
-
Place mint leaves and lime juice in a glass and muddle them together. Muddling = mushing them up and crushing the leaves to release the flavour and oils the mint. Use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon. Or a set of brass knuckles. To each their own
-
Add the honey
-
Add the sparkling water
-
Garnish with lime slices, a sprig of mint!
HOLISTIC HEALTH HACK
-
I love to add in a few berries (fresh or frozen) for extra colour, yumminess and a boost of antioxidants! You can throw in raspberries, strawberries or blueberries
-
You can add a little honey for taste if you like, especially if you are still getting used to “no sweet” taste, however, I always make mine without and you will probably find that you remove the honey yourself eventually!
